ZEO-ACTIVE Zeolite for Feed Additive
Productivity is an important factor in the business. In business line of animal husbandry, the primary factor to influence your productivity is feed quality. Economically the feed expense is the most expense component. By using ZEO-ACTIVE additive in your feed composition, will bring a high efficiency and more effectively.
ZEO-ACTIVE is an active substance, which is made by a scarce and unique Zeolite rock. ZEO-ACTIVE have it's own ability to adsorb the poisons matter. ZEO-ACTIVE is a slow releaser when used as feed additive. By its catalyst function, use ZEO-ACTIVE additive will cause slower movement of the feed in digestion system. ZEO-ACTIVE also gives contribution in Nitrogen decomposition to become meat protein.
Purposes ZEO-ACTIVE for Animal
Wouldroup (1984) by his research reported that zeolite additive to feed of chicken at 1-49 days age, could increase the weight and depress ammonia and moisture content of litter. Philips (1988) reported that zeolite also absorb the aflatoxin fungi, to protect animal from poisoned. For ruminants, Mumpton and Fishman (1977) expressed that zeolite is a buffer in stomach.
Balard and Edward Jr. (1988) by their research, reported that zeolite additive to feed of chicken can decrease the tibial dyschondroplasia, beside that zeolite also improve the absorption and retention of calcium.
Dosages
Effective application : 2-5 % mixed to feed (over dosage will cause a negative effect). For milk cow, zeolite additive together with enough drinking water will bring a better effect.

How ZEO-ACTIVE work for Animal
Based on its nature of ion exchange and adsorption, Zeolite can act as pH buffer, balancing electrolyte dilution; fasten the disturber ion and also the poisonous heavy elements, and also as catalyst in enzymatic reactions. By enzyme, feed will be digested more perfect, so more feed nutrients will available to absorb by animal's organ. Other benefit of zeolite is its ability to eliminate bad effect of mycotoxin, one of them is aflatoxin. Zeolite itself is not a nutrition matter. Using the Zeolite is caused of its special characteristic as a unity matter, and is not caused by its chemical components.
